Transport Assistance
Getting out and about can be difficult for people with disability, especially if they don’t hold a valid driver’s license or they find public transport overwhelming. It’s imperative that you’re able to safely make trips for medical appointments or grocery store runs.
If you need additional assistance when travelling around the community, our dedicated support workers can drive or accompany you, be it visiting your loved one, attending appointments or events and/or functions. This funding comes out of your Core budget (Assistance with Social and Community Participation).
All our support workers hold a full driver’s license and are fully insured. NDIS transport options:
If you have a transport allocation in your NDIS plan listed as: self-managed, it means the NDIS will pay your transport allocation directly into your bank account.
If you have a transport allocation in your NDIS plan listed as: agency managed, we can work with you to reflect this in the service we deliver to you.
